i’m sam, a mexican-american designer based wherever i can get wi-fi and good coffee ☕️. i create design with a pulse. design that not just looks good but does good, feels real, and connects people.
i’ve launched products, built brands, published books, created games, and led projects from scratch to real life. i thrive at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and personality.
this is what drives me
I believe design is storytelling. I’m not here to decorate screens. I’m here to build experiences that move people, make them feel something, or help them see the world differently. I design for real people, not stakeholders.

This is me
I’m a creative with roots in industrial design and 8+ years of experience in building digital experiences that actually feel human. I’ve worked across design, development, and storytelling, crafting brands, websites, and games that move people.
After initially gaining experience in saas startups in the industrial industry, I shifted toward ux/ui design and brand strategy in tech startups. My work has earned a few awards that have recognized my creativity, and even landed in bookstores. I’ve published two original books in 2025 and launched a board game line.
I’ve worked in different countries including USA, mexico, new zealand and france and I love learning about how different cultures approach problem solving in the creative field. Right now I work in a Git for Hardware SaaS series A startup.
